Booked it for 1 day and had a FANTASTIC experience. We were upgraded to a spotless and impressive room with shared bathroom. Friendly and consistently courteous staff, gave a lot of information. The restaurant was relatively near the hotel.

The shared bathroom left much to be desired. Lingering odors were noted, and cleanliness seemed to falter. I also encountered a decidedly uncomfortable mattress that didn't provide the best rest, and noise from outside made it difficult to sleep soundly. On one occasion, breakfast options were limited, as several items had run out by the time I arrived. The check-in process lacked a certain warmth, with staff seemingly distracted by personal conversations rather than attending promptly to guests. It seems like improvements could be made in attention to details and some facilities.

The units were functional and large with shared bathroom.
The room is a little old.

Room felt cramped with thin walls making it easy to hear noise from others. Not ideal for a good night's sleep. The mattress lacked comfort, a little hard, and several breakfast items ran out before I arrived, limiting options.

Charming ambiance amidst history
Waking up to the echoes of students discussing literature in the yard was a good surprise. The breakfast spread was more than hearty, combined with really good cleanliness throughout the college facilities.
The mattress felt quite worn, and the shared bathroom could use regular checks. Occasionally, I noticed a lingering odor that detracted from the overall experience.

The breakfast options were plentiful, with a decent array of breads, cereals, and fresh fruits. The full English breakfast, while visually peculiar, provided a unique start to the day. My single room was larger than anticipated with a clean sink included, although the overall decor felt aged. The location was unbeatable, right in the center of Oxford, perfect for exploring. The shared bathroom left much to be desired. It had a lingering unpleasant odor that persisted throughout my stay. Check-in was awkward, with staff engaged in off-topic discussions. The mattress was quite worn and springy, which may not suit everyone, though I managed to sleep well. The experience had its highlights but also areas needing attention.

The spacious single room offered a quiet retreat, complemented by easy access to a well-equipped shared kitchen. Breakfast was a highlight, served in a striking hall with delicious homemade cakes and plenty of choices. The shared bathroom needed more regular maintenance due to noticeable odors, and the mattress on the bed felt worn were nice.
